Department of Economics

The Department of Economics is one of the founding Disciplines in the Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences which came into being at the inception of the University in 2011. This Department was to complement other Departments in the Faculty. Students were encouraged to work within a framework of an integrated interdisciplinary approach which allowed them to specialize in one of the disciplines that made up the Faculty.
