Biochemistry is one of the most interesting science courses that bring to your reach the interface and connectivity between Chemistry and Biology; no doubt it is the mother of all sciences, being the chemistry of life.

Our Department is as young as the University itself. However, we are committed to building a world of Biochemistry that will permeate all spheres of life. Our curriculum is a blend of all aspects of Biochemistry, so rich and highly packed with modern topics such as Bioinformatics, molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology to provide our students with a broad range of choices. Our mission is to prepare undergraduate and post-graduate students for productive careers in Industry, Academia, and Government by providing an excellent environment for teaching, learning, and research in the theory and applications of Biochemistry.
