A brief Profile of Prof. Mrs. Chibiya Shinggu

Professor Chibiya Paul Shinggu was born on the 20^th April 1963 to the family of Mr and Mrs Calvin Shalfanda Alahria in mubi Local Government Area of then Gongola State. She attended yelwa Primary School, Mubi between 1969-1975 where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate; she later proceeded to Government Secondary School Mubi between 1975-1980 where she obtained West African School Certificate. She obtained ordinary Diploma from College of Agriculture, Division of Agricultural Colleges, Samaru Zaria between 1986-1987.

 

She secured admission into University of Maiduguri in 1988 and graduated in1993 where she was awarded first degree in B.sc Agriculture. She did her NYSC at Otun High School Saki, Oyo State in 1994. She proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where she obtained Master of Sciences Degree in Agronomy. In her quest to be an academician, she further went to ABU Zaria in 2000 and obtained PhD in Agronomy in 2008.
