ADDENDUM TO THE FUW 2018/2019 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

This is to inform all candidates who applied to read Agriculture and related courses and met the JAMB minimum cut-off mark that the FEDERAL University Wukari (FUW) has provision to accommodate/admit qualified candidates in the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences in the 2018/2019 academic session.

This information is with particular reference to the following category of candidates:

Candidates who choose FUW as First and Second choice Institution
Candidates who applied to other Institutions to read Agriculture and are willing to change to FUW; and
Candidates who wish to change their initial course of study to Agriculture.

NOTE: Candidates are reminded to conclude necessary process of change of course/programme and Institution to FUW on the JAMB PORTAL and proceed to register on the FUW portal, putm2018@fuwukari.edu.ng for the FUW post UTME scheduled for Wednesday 15th-Friday 17th August, 2018. Candidates are kindly advised to seize this rare opportunity and comply within the deadline accordingly.

2018/2019 PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who applied for admission into the Federal University Wukari for the 2018/2019 academic session that the University has scheduled Post- UTME Screening Exercise to hold at the Federal University Wukari, along Katsina –Ala road, Wukari, Taraba State.

ELIGIBILITY:

Only UTME and DE Candidates who selected Federal University Wukari as their First or Second choice of institution are eligible for the screening exercise.
UTME candidates who scored NOT LESS than 180 in the 2018 UTME

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Candidates should note the following procedure for registration
On the home page of the Federal University Wukari website, click on 2018/2019 Pre-Admission Screening
All candidates are advised to click on Pre-Admission Screening Instructions and carefully read the Registration Instructions.

On the Admission Menu displayed on the left-hand side, click Pre-Admission Screening Instruction and read carefully.
Type in your JAMB Registration Number and SURNAME in the boxes provided. Carefully type in your JAMB Registration Number as any error committed will not allow your details to be displayed.

Thereafter,

Registration fee for each candidate is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only, excluding bank charges.
UTME candidates should click on the Get Details button for your JAMB information;
DE candidates and those that choose FUW as their second choice should click OK button on the dialog box displayed and enter their names;
Click on Make Payment link to go to REMITA PLATFORM.
Make Payment
- Select your ATM card type (e.g Visa or Master Card)
- Enter your Card Number
- Enter Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card and lastly enter your card pin; and then click on Pay.
Please note: (Do not REFRESH your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart).
Upon successful payment, Login and click on Continue Registration Link on the main menu.
Fill in your other bio-data and necessary details truthfully on the webpage. All candidates should upload their Passports by clicking on Browse button and select your picture. Your Passport must not be more than 25KB.
- PASSPORT SPECIFICATION:
  - Acceptable format is JPEG.
  - Picture must be digital passport photograph.
  - Resolution must be at least 200 DPI.
  - Dimension should not be less than 600 × 600 pixels.
  - Each photograph should capture the head and top of the shoulders so that the face takes up to 70-80% of the photograph.
  - Show the eyes looking directly at the camera.
  - Show skin tone naturally.
  - Have a uniform red background.
  - Maximum of 25KB..
On completion of bio-data. click on Next Step button then click OK on the message dialog box.
All Direct Entry (DE) candidates and those who choose FUW as their choice should complete the programme of choice and click on Save then click OK on the message dialog box.
On completion of choice of Institution click Next Step button.
- Direct Entry candidates are required to select their Highest Academic Qualification(s) from the drop down and click on Save. On the dialog box click OK;
- To add more Higher Academic Qualifications click on qualifications dropdown to select your additional qualifications, click on save; and then Click on Next Step.
- Pick Number of sitting(s) by clicking on the drop-down button
- Enter all the required O' level (O/L) details; Pick as applicable in your result; and
- Click on Submit button then click OK on the message dialog box.
- Falsification of result will lead to automatic disqualification at any stage.
Click Print Tab to print out the following:
- Pre-Admission Screening Registration form;
- Payment Receipt.

PERIOD OF ONLINE REGISTRATION

Payment for the registration will start from Wednesday 25th July, 2018. Portal for registration and printing of acknowledgement slip will close by Midnight of Tuesday 14th, August, 2018.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

All eligible candidates are required to come on the date indicated on their scheduling slips.

Candidates are to report at the university campus along Katsina-Ala road with the following:

A printout of the 2018 UTME result slip bearing the candidate’s passport photograph (the Passport should not be affixed). The title of the course/programme of choice should be boldly written by the candidate on top of the result slip.
The printed 2018 University Post-UTME Screening Exercise scheduling slips
A writing material (Biro or Pencil)
A simple scientific calculator (non-programmable) without cover

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Candidates are not allowed to bring GSM phones or handsets or similar electronic gadgets into the screening hall. Such item(s) will be seized and will not be returned to the owners.
Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the law enforcement agents.
Any registered candidate who fails to report for the screening exercise on the date and time specified on the print-out automatically loses his or her chance of being screened for admission.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the University campus on the scheduled dates for the screening exercise at least one hour prior to the scheduled time on their slips.
