Practical demonstrations of water and acid-base chemistry: pH determination/measurements simple titration (colour indicators) and potentiometric titration; buffers and buffering systems. Basic enzymology experiments: effect of temperature, pH, enzyme and substrate concentrations on enzymatic reaction. Effects of selected ions on enzyme activities.
