Engr. Dr. Shianya Audu Ngabea is a distinguished agricultural and bioprocess engineering academic with extensive teaching, research, and administrative experience. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering at Federal University Wukari, a position he has held since February 2022.

Dr. Ngabea’s academic journey spans from his early studies at Taraba State College of Agriculture to a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Bioprocess Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has contributed significantly to curriculum development, student mentorship, and faculty governance, while also advancing research in food processing, renewable energy applications in agriculture, and material science.

As HOD, Dr. Ngabea has demonstrated strong leadership in coordinating departmental activities, guiding staff and students, and promoting a culture of academic excellence. His commitment to innovation, research collaboration, and quality education has strengthened the department’s reputation and impact in the field of agricultural engineering.
