Professor Timothy F. Yerima, a Professor of International/ Comparative Regional Human Rights Law. He obtained his LLB in 1996, BL (1998) LLM 2003 and PhD in 2011 from University of Maiduguri, Nigerian Law School, Obafemi Awolowo University of Ile-Ife and University of Jos respectively. Professor Yerima’s service in the academic profession spans of years of remarkable meritorious awards, attestable publications in journals of international repute, membership of various Professional bodies notable among which is the famous O’Brien fellow at McGill University Canada.

Historical Background of the Faculty

The Faculty of Law ensures that its Law clinic on Human Rights Education and Awareness has received international recognition; and Federal University Wukari Law Faculty students now participate competitively in international moot trials. Besides the previously mentioned notable achievements, the Faculty aims at establishing one of the best Post Graduate Legal Education System as well as a Tracer system for tracking students’ progression in various areas of endeavour even after graduation.

Our programs are yielding fruits. Apart from the gigantic structures of the Law Faculty, other facilities also available include: the Moot Court, Classrooms, Staff Lounge; Students’ Lounge, Law Clinic, Conference Room, Dean and Heads of Department Offices, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff offices et al.
