You are welcome to the Department of Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at Federal University Wukari, Nigeria. The department’s philosophy, vision and mission aligns with the university's vision to raise future leaders and well-trained engineers in the field of Computer Engineering. The department also boasts of well-seasoned lecturers and well-trained technologists. The non-teaching teams are also available to collaborate with academic staff to achieve departmental goals. Our programme has carefully selected course outlines as prescribed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and Council for the Regulation of Engineering (COREN) Benchmark Minimum Academic Standard (BMAS) that are well packaged to prepare our students for the successful practice of Computer Engineering profession anywhere in the world. The programme in the Department is designed to allow blending of theoretical concepts with their applications in the ever-changing technological world.

The Department of Computer Engineering has adopted the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach which further promote effective learning and sharing of computing knowledge.
