Engr. Prof. Samuel Baba Onoja is a distinguished academic and professional engineer whose career spans teaching, research, and community service in the field of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. His expertise lies in sustainable agricultural systems, irrigation and water resource management, and mechanization technologies for improved agricultural productivity.

Over the years, Prof. Onoja has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and published scholarly articles in reputable national and international journals. He is a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

His research interests focus on developing innovative engineering solutions that enhance food security and promote sustainable rural development.
